That’s what I originally did when I first made the tool and it looked like this. But once I got the correct material for the bottom I thought why not just make it longer so I didn’t have to stuff the pocket but I get what you are saying. I guess I had it closer the first time lol

Well it’s not done but I’m definitely getting there. I need to darken the red to make it more of a maroon color and add some more small details. The grey misting on the side probably could have been a bit lighter in color but overall I’m pretty happy with the way this came out and it’s much more accurate than my first shoulder paint up I did.

My helmet is also nearing completion and these are the pictures I received last night. I couldn’t be more excited about this build!

Thanks I really appreciate it! This was probably the most frustrating piece I’ve painted so far and I really wanted to nail it. But comparing it to my first shoulder the difference is night and day.

I’ll have to tweak a few small things and paint the wheat symbol but overall I’m pretty happy with this!

Also my helmet is about finished up! It’s jus needs some weathering and after that the visor install plus the ears and this things done!

So I tweaked the color of my left and belly plate with weyerhaeuser green and will start weathering them here in the next day or so. I’m definitely loving the color! It still blows my mind that just a little light makes such a huge difference in the color.

Small update but I hit some areas with a lighter green to help lighten up some areas before adding some dark weathering.

I actually got the idea for the lighter green from you! I sued that marsh green by apple barrel I think it is.

So the helmet is nearing completion! The weathering has been started and some areas will be toned down a bit but I’m loving the way it’s coming out.

I also finished up my collar armor last night as well. The lighting isn’t great but it does have some slight wreathing. The next pieces I’ll be working on is re-painting the back-plate and then the cod and kidney armor.

Well I finally got a decent jetpack kit and I have to say I’m pretty excited to start working on this one!
