Hi everyone,

I started this helmet on March 23, 2026. It will be an RotJ Hero paint up on a MinuteFett RotJ helmet. I'm going to keep the updates here and only include significant updates in my costume build thread. My goal is to end up with a respectable helmet that I won't feel bad wearing. I'm not shooting for museum-level accuracy. I'm looking to have fun and get things done, maintaining momentum and forward progress.

Spent some time filling pin holes the past couple days with Bondo Filler Primer. Just did a second lighter, layer of it. Once that’s all smoothed out I’ll start working on my visor and get it mounted.

Finished up with pin hole filling and primer. Made my visor from scratch using a sheet of Perspex and a heat gun. I still need to trim the bottom to make it more narrow. It’s currently too wide and pushing the mandibles out. But it’s a start! After I finish trimming the visor then I’ll make my clips.

That’s a beautiful cast. I wish my BM would have come with the physical damage. Would have saved a lot of time. :LOL:
